    All panels are produced by above GrADS scripts.
    (a) Contours are for 250-hPa monthly-mean anomalous QG stream function in November 2014, while arrows are for wave activity flux defined by Takaya and Nakamura (2001). "anomaly" is defined by deviations of November 2014 from climatology (November mean for 1990-2010).
    (b) Coutnros are for deviation of 250-hPa monthly-mean QG stream function in November 2014 from its zonal mean, while arrows are for wave activity flux defined by Plumb (1985).
    (c) Coutnros are for deviation of 250-hPa monthly-mean QG stream function of November climatology (1990-2010) from its zonal mean, while arrows are for wave activity flux defined by Plumb (1985).
